Domus Development builds mixed population apartment complexes for both special needs and non-special needs low income populations throughout California. Located in El Monte, CA, Garvey Court stands proudly as Domus Development’s county and federally subsidized redevelopment of a formerly vacant, blighted site along Garvey Avenue into an affordable housing complex for low income seniors. Domus Development contracted Corral Consulting to: facilitate a series of community forums to identify local health and wellness needs; engage local service providers (e.g. El Monte City School District, Community Health Alliance of Pasadena, Cleaver Family Wellness Clinic, and Tzu Chi Medical Foundation) to collaboratively plan and operate a Wellness Center and Federally Qualified Health Center onsite; research innovative health and wellness programming and best practices; secure funding for the partnership.
